Hi, my name is Sophia and I’m so happy you are here. I hope my passion for food and desire to live a healthy lifestyle inspires you in some way to take one step forward towards your own health and wellness. My personal journey to feel better from the inside out started in college. I played division one soccer but I struggled to find a balance with my health, nutrition, and lifestyle. When I started living intentionally and focusing on foods that made me feel my best, @sophs.clean.eats was born. It started out as a place to hold myself accountable and then grew into inspiring others to do the same.
I became so passionate about nutrition that I continued my educational journey at Syracuse University where I received a masters in nutrition science and completed my dietetic internship. After completing the necessary coursework and supervised practice, I became a Registered Dietitian. I will forever be on my own health and wellness journey. Intentionally working towards feeling good, eating well, and prioritizing yourself never really ends. I have transformed my lifestyle by focusing on wholesome, nutritious foods that nourish both the mind and body and I am excited to share my passion, knowledge, and experiences with you!

I believe that food should be both nourishing and enjoyable. Clean eating isn’t about strict diets or deprivation; it’s about finding a sustainable way to enjoy real, whole foods. I’ve had many experiences throughout my education, clinical hours, and presence on social media that have shown me how many of us are dealing with various health issues. I am a firm believer that diet can help so many of them, but the information can be confusing and sometimes contradicting. My hope is for you to utilize this website filled with food information, recipes, and daily tips to help you take one step forward towards healthy living.
